Jude - Reversible Heart Baby Blanket

Jude reversible heart baby blanket.

Although Jude looks like a patchwork blanket it is knitted all-in-one. One square shows the knit side of the heart on the right side of the blanket and one shows the purl side, this makes the blanket fully reversible.

The blanket covers four sizes but you can easily adjust the size to suit your requirements.

Size 1= 18.5"x 22"/ 47 x 56cm - 4 x 5 squares  Size 2= 23" x 26" / 58.5 x 66cm - 5 x 6 squares  Size 3= 27.5" x 30.5" / 70 x 77.5cm - 6 x 7 squares  Size 4= 32" x 34.5" / 79 x 84xm - 7 x 8 squares

Any suitable DK weight yarn can be used. You will need approx.: size 1= 480m/525yds, size 2=640m/700yds,  size 3= 00m/875yds,  size 4= 1120m/1225yds.

All knitters knit differently, yarn amounts are approximate. If you knit to a different gauge your blanket will be a different size and you will need more or less yarn than stated.

The pattern is rated #2 for the beginner with a little experience. The design contains only knit and purl stitches but the repeats of the pattern are quite large.
