Kylie - Reversible Baby Blanket in DK yarn.

Kylie is a reversible blanket with clean lines and a modern feel.

The diagonal row of holes in this blanket separate blocks of stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch in a triangle design. The blanket is not overly lacy or fussy and has a timeless appeal.

The pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner/ intermediate knitter. You will need to know how to read a pattern, cast on and off, knit two stitches together and work a yarn over. The yarn-overs in the pattern are fully explained in the abbreviation section of the pattern.

In three sizes, small/car seat, medium and large.

Finished dimensions approx.: 

Car Seat/Small - 20 x 24 inches (51 x 61 cm).  

Medium - 25 x 30 inches (64 x 76 cm)

Large - 30 x 36 inches (79 x 91 cm).

You will need approx.

3 x 50g balls DK yarn for the small blanket - Peter Pan Baby DK

5 x 50 g balls as above for the medium blanket

7 x 50g balls as above DK yarn for the larger blanket.

OR if using a different yarn - approx. 450, 700, 1000 meters 490, 763, 1090 yards.

Pair 3.75 & 4 mm knitting needles. Long circular needles are recommended to accommodate the number of stitches but the blanket can be knitted on straight needles if you have a pair long enough to accommodate the number of stitches for the size you are knitting.
