Only knit and purl stitches are used in this timeless blanket even though the pattern looks much more complicated. The garter stitch edges are knitted at the same time so no picking up of stitches or finishing is required. The pattern is both written and charted, so you can use whichever you prefer.


The length of the blanket is easily adjusted and instructions are given in the pattern.


The instructions for this blanket cover three sizes. The pattern has charts as well as written instructions so that you can work from whichever you prefer.


Finished dimensions approx.: 
Small - 20 x 20 inches (51 x 51 cm).  
Medium - 26 x 30 inches (66 x 76 cm).
Large - 33 x 38 inches (84 x 96 cm).


You will need approx. Small - 3 x 50g balls DK yarn
                                    Medium - 6 x 50g balls DK yarn
                                    Large - 10 x 50g balls DK yarn


Pair 3.5 & 4 mm knitting needles. Long circular needles are recommended to accommodate the number of stitches.
