Alex Baby Cardigan - Seamless knitting pattern

A simple, seamless raglan baby cardigan with striped garter edges.
The cardigan is knitted from the top down with the button bands knitted at the same time as the body.
Sleeves are knitted seamlessly after the body is completed.

To Fit Approx: 0-6 months [6-12 months, 12-18 months]
Sizes: Finished chest measurements; 46 [51, 56] cm / 18 [20, 22] inches

Yarn: West Yorkshire Spinners Bo Peep DK— 52% Falkland Wool/48% Nylon, 112m/50g
2 [3, 4] x 50g balls in main shade (MS)
plus a small amount, approx. 40m/15g each, of two contrasting colours (C1 & C2).
OR - Any suitable DK baby yarn.

Tension: 24 sts x 32 rows to 10cm in stocking stitch using 3.75mm needles.
Needles: 3.5mm & 3.75mm needles, or size to obtain the correct tension, in circular and dpns (or your
preferred needles for knitting small circumferences in the round).
Notions: 4 stitch markers, stitch holders or spare yarn, yarn needle, 6 buttons of approx. 15mm/ ⅝” diameter.
Knitting Techniques Used: Knit, purl, k2tog, ssk m1L and m1R increases & picking up stitches at sleeve joins. The body is knitted
flat back and forth, the sleeves are knitted seamlessly in the round.
